Bring Your Group to Fisheating Creek!

Get your group away from the “big city” and get back to nature. Church groups, scouting and youth groups, clubs and associations, family reunions, and family and friend trips all are welcome at Fisheating Creek Outpost. Group camping sites are available, and you can enjoy group discounts on canoe and kayak rentals. You also can rent the Screen Room pavilion for private functions at the campground.

Group Camping

With advance notice, you can book adjacent blocks of regular tent or RV Sites, or utilize one of our seven primitive camping group sites. Full campground buyouts also may be arranged for your group.

Our seven primitive camping group sites are:

Deer Clan: Open field with some shade, Deer Clan site is located near the entrance to the hiking trail and the north bathhouse. Electric and water available for an additional fee. Capacity: 60 to 150 campers.

Bear Clan: Located near the north bathhouse and the entrance of the hiking trail. Large open field with some shade. Capacity: 50 to 100 campers.

Panther Clan: Located near the Creek, this site features a large open field with some shade. Capacity: 50 to 100 campers.

Bird Clan: This site features plenty of shade and is located near our north bathhouse. Capacity: 30 to 40 campers.

Fish Clan: Lots of shade and located near the north bathhouse. Capacity: 30 to 40 campers.

Otter Clan: Small site located close to the Creek and Camp Store. Capacity 20 to 25 campers.

Depot Area: This area consists of ten regular tent sites, four of which are on the banks of our swim pond. The Depot Area, located under the full shade of beautiful old oak trees, is available on an exclusive basis to larger groups. Capacity: 100 to 150 campers.

group Paddle Rentals

Put your group out on the Creek! Groups renting five or more canoes, kayaks or stand-up paddleboards can save 15 percent on their watercraft rentals! Must be booked in advance of visit.

screen room pavilion Rentals

Our screen room pavilion, located adjacent to the North Bathhouse, provides your group with a dedicated space for functions of up to 50 people. Tables and chairs are included with your rental, as is the use of an oven/range and sink.
